Get Involved In Student Government

STUDENT SENATE:

Every week the senate gathers to discuss issues important to students ate the University of Washington and establish resolutions of student opinion. These resolutions help guide our elected leaders and dedicated volunteers as they represent us.

SEXUAL ASSAULT AND RELATIONSHIP VIOLENCE AWARENESS (SARVA):

Organizes sexual assault and relationship violence awareness week. Coordinates the take back the night rally, clothesline project and other programs.

ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON

The ASUW is the democratic voice of students that engages the campus community through programming, services, and advocacy. The ASUW strives to enrich student life and develop future leaders.

STUDENT HEALTH CONSORTIUM

The SHC strives to connect the many health-related student organizations on campus with each other to encourage communication and collaboration. Their major programming includes the Pre-Health Affair in the fall, the Everybody Every Body Fashion Show in the winter, and Mental Health Awareness Week in the spring. 

UW LEADERS

UW Leaders (UWL) is a program of the Associated Students of University of Washington (ASUW) that offers leadership-building opportunities for first, second, and transfer third-year students. Whether students have been involved in past leadership or want to start now, UW Leaders maximizes their leadership potential and welcomes them into a close-knit, meaningful community of accomplished individuals.
