ASUW Latinx Student Commission

6th Annual Dream Banquet

Description

The Dream Banquet is a student led reception created with the intention to raise funds for the SEED Scholarship. In 2013, La Raza constituents saw the high need to support undocumented students to fund their education at the University of Washington. La Raza Commission with the support of the community, had the inaugural Dream Banquet in Spring 2014 and raised more than 5 thousand dollars. Each year the Dream Banquet gets bigger and our goal is to assure that undocumented students continue to get financial support. The Banquet’s program includes a 3 course dinner, keynote speakers, a silent auction and much more. It is a great opportunity for you to give back to the community and show your support to students.
